Family Reflection Video: My Way or the Highway

Children love outdoor games with their siblings and friends … until someone doesn’t get their way!

Children’s innocence and humility often make them a picture of what we should be before God. But children can also be trying with their tantrums and shifting moods. Jesus describes certain people of his day in this way and criticizes their attitude of immaturity.

Immaturity will not make things happen. The Church is making amazing things happen around the world today for the poor and for world peace. Many of us pitch in with our time, talent and treasure.

The same is true in our homes. When a family works together, amazing things will happen! This won’t happen if family members sit apart, pouting. Have you seen this happen in your own home? How do you react when things don’t go your way?

Dance with the Lord today, dear friends! May God bless you and your families.
