Family Reflection Video: Patience Obtains Everything

Family Reflection Video: Patience Obtains Everything

peace  |  patience

The famous words  on the base of the Statue of Liberty welcome people from all over the world who seek refuge and new hope. What do they have in common with what Jesus is teaching us today?

Many of us seek remedies to heal our burdens from a variety of outside sources. The world offers many quick fixes … but nothing can give us the peace that Jesus offers us.

Pope Francis was quoted as saying there are no situations in life that we cannot get out of. We are not condemned to “sink in the sand.” The hand of Jesus is always ready to pull us out … to pull us up!

Does that sinking feeling sound familiar to you or a member of your family? What heavy burden is keeping you down and restless?

Pray with persistence and patience for Jesus to offer you his hand and grant you and your family peace and rest today!
