Family Reflection Video: Reflecting the Light

It only takes one mirror to reflect a bit of sunshine into a dark room.

Our task as Christians is to be the salt and the light of the world. We do this by giving meaning where there seems to be none and bringing hope and forgiveness to others. As salt, we give flavor to life exuding the joy we share with God and one another. And as light, we reflect God’s radiance by showing love, kindness, mercy and humble service.

Don’t wait until tomorrow or until your own needs and dreams are fulfilled. Give back to others today! How can you and your family serve your local community?

Be the salt and light to people around you and share with your family that you are the life and light giver in your family.

About Father Pinto Paul, C.S.C.

Father Pinto Paul, C.S.C., Ph.D., serves as the International Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM). In this role, he provides leadership and support to HCFM ministries in 18 countries across 6 continents, helping advance the mission of strengthening family prayer, faith formation, and spiritual life around the world. Originally from Kerala, India, Father Pinto spent ten years as a missionary in Tripura with the Northeast Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Before his appointment as International Director, he served as Special Assistant to the President of Holy Cross Family Ministries. He also ministered for six years in Campus Ministry at Stonehill College, accompanying students in their faith formation, leadership development, and spiritual growth.
