Family Reflection Video: The Holy Spirit Moves in Us

Family Reflection Video: The Holy Spirit Moves in Us

saints  |  trust

Saints teach us many lessons by the way they lived their lives, but this is the greatest lesson of all.

The Holy Spirit is a great worker; one who persistently strives to help us understand who Jesus is. Just like the many saints we admire we must work to allow the Holy Spirit to move within us. As Saint Augustine once said, “We should not expect to travel in luxury to what can only be reached by hard work.”

Talk with your family about how you can put your faith into action this week. Pray together and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your works and deeds.

An African proverb says it best, “When you pray, move your feet.” In moving our feet we need to be mindful that it is not we who are doing the moving, but the Holy Spirit who is within us. God bless you and your family.
