The feeling of betrayal is painful and full of darkness. But where there is darkness, there is always light.
There is nothing more destructive than being betrayed, especially by someone close to you. Take comfort in knowing that within the pain of betrayal, there is hope. What begins in darkness: Judas’ betrayal and Jesus’ crucifixion, leads to light: Christ’s resurrection.
Darkness can be dispelled by the light of Christ that has come into our world! With your family tonight reflect on the psalmists words of assurance, “In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame.” How can you and your family remember these words when you feel betrayed?
It’s been a joy having you with us today. May God continue to bless you and your family, especially during this Holy Week.
