Family Reflection Video: What’s Important?

Family Reflection Video: What’s Important?

peace

We brought nothing into this world when we arrived … and we won't be able to take anything out of it when we leave.

Jesus was not a wealthy man so consequently he did not have things to offer his followers.  What was it that He offered that appealed to them? They were not material things … but rather love, fidelity, generosity, hope, commitment, compassion and mercy.

Our houses and garages are full of so much stuff. How could we still be yearning for something else? Are we missing peace of mind and contentment?

This would make wonderful dinner table conversation with your family. What is important in our lives? What is truly real? What kind of things are we gathering to take with us when we die?

I pray you and your family will keep your lives uncluttered to make plenty of room for the joy and amazing gifts Jesus has to offer you.

In the comment section below, share with other blog readers how you keep your life “uncluttered.”
