The mass is ended but the mission of Christ is ours.
This is what the Ascension is all about. Jesus completed his work on earth and now his mission is ours to carry out. By passing this down, we are responsible to go out to all the world and proclaim the good news.
This is not always done with words. It’s how we live our faith every day, in the choices we make. When we carry out our tasks, when we concern ourselves with the needs of others, we proclaim the Gospel.
The learning curve for Jesus’ followers was a slow one, and it can be today. Still, the mission is ours to go out to all the world and proclaim the good news! With your family think of some ways you can spread this to the ends of the earth.
