Family Reflection Video: “For This Purpose I Have Come”

inspiration  |  strength and hope

We all have fears. Suffering and death are two common yet crippling fears. But did you know that you’re born with very few fears? Most fears are learned through personal experience or social observation. And if that’s the case, then we can find the strength to bear them.

As we heard in the Scriptures today, Jesus seeks out people who need help and he brings those needs in prayer to our Father. While Jesus may not remove our suffering and pain, he continues to say, I am here. I know what you are going through. Let me help you.

Are you or someone in your family suffering or afraid of death? For many people, these are very difficult topics to talk about with others. But Jesus understands and reminds us that this is one of the reasons why his Father sent him, “For this purpose I have come.” I pray you will find it easier to talk to him about it in your prayers.

I encourage you to listen to Jesus today. Embrace His words and actions. Pray to Him and ask for the strength to overcome your fears.
