We see a side of Jesus today that might surprise us…
Check out the homily video here
Jesus is speaking to a town of people who were privileged to have miracles done around them, but still don not change for the better. Jesus is frustrated. He is angry. Can you relate? We all feel angry when people do not respond in the way we thought they should.
No one enjoys feeling angry, which is why it is so helpful to forgive. Forgiveness will prevent anger and frustration from destroying our hearts; it opens our minds and lifts the burden of anger so that we may welcome the members of our family back in.
Have you forgiven someone lately?
Lord, we pray for our hearts to be filled of love, as Yours is, and the grace of forgiveness.
