God Provides: Family Reflection Video

Celebrating family life

Advent and Hanukkah began on the same day this year.

This past weekend, I was invited to celebrated Hanukkah with relatives who have come to join my family. This holiday is a celebration of the oil that lasted eight days for an important ritual. There had only been enough oil for one day, hence the miracle that the oil continued to burn. God had provided.

The story today of Jesus feeding the crowd is a reminder to us that God continues to provide. The oil and the food are just examples that the bread of life never runs out, God will always provide for us.

Where do we find God has provided for us?

Let us find comfort in this Advent hope; that God is our provider.
