God’s Call and Gifts are Irrevocable: Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor

We’re all human, which means we all make mistakes. So how does that affect how much God loves us?

God’s love does not diminish because of our human failings. The love God has for us is never weakened. Even when we are disobedient, it’s an opportunity for Jesus to extend his incredible mercy through the sacrament of Reconciliation. He shows us again and again how gentle his forgiveness can be.

It’s a comfort knowing that God’s love for us is never weakened, even when we’re slow to embrace Him during difficult times. We have the opportunity to use our gifts and reflect God’s compassion when others turn away from Him. How can you and your family be reminders of God’s ever-enduring love?

Let’s close our time together in prayer: Lord, You remind me that I should serve those who are in need. When I help my brother or sister, I should do so with love, not expecting anything in return. May I help them generously. Amen.
