Love thy Neighbor  |  Return to the Church

Do you believe the worst of times with give birth to the best of times?

Many people might say we are experiencing the worst of times right now. These is plenty of hurt and anger to focus on. However, when people felt this way in past times, the grace and peace of God found them, and it comes to us today.

Even in these rough times, the faithful still look out for others: rejecting injustices, serving at soup kitchens, and caring for the sick. Upholding hope for better things to come has been a way of life for as far back as the blind man who asks Jesus to heal him today. Knowing good things are coming does not depend on sight, but on faith.

Are our sights set on the good to come? How do we help our communities?

Let us lift up our prayers in service today, that we may see the good Jesus has in store for all of us.
