Jesus Asks Us to Reach Out and Help: Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor

Be strong and fear not!

When the paralyzed man wished to see Jesus speak, his friends went through great efforts to make it happen. There are many people today that need our help and care, and we must do what we can to help them, as the man’s friends did.

Moved by their efforts, Jesus healed the man, which reminds us today that this season is one of giving, reaching out to others who are in need. Countless people will be sharing the message of hope through their time, talent, and treasure. Their efforts may not be as demanding as the stretcher bearers, but Jesus will respond with gratitude.

How can I be of service to my brothers and sisters in this season of giving?

I pray today that we find the strength in us to help others and bring them closer to Jesus.
