Jesus Heals Our Spiritual Wounds: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

Jesus is the healing balm we search for.

Jesus knows the burdens people experience every day, and he offers himself as remedy for their pains. The Bible mentions “balm in Gilead” when people are in search of remedy or healing, and we are invited to follow God and experience that balm.

Jesus offers a different approach to religion, one that does not rely on strict regiment, but instead a response to the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

In what ways do we need healing? How can we help others heal? We pray that our prayers shall be the balm our families, friends, and co-workers need for a spiritual lift, so they may experience renewed hope and healing.
