Making Known the Priceless Kindness of Christ: Family Reflection Video

Do we model kindness and humility?

Jesus has some harsh words today for men he encountered who were severe in their judgment of others. He described examples of heartless men who imposed burdens on others and did not lift a finger to help.

Today we celebrate the examples of those who would come to know and care: Saint Hedwig and Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque; two women who carved a unique space in the world of their day. In each of their life situations, they worked to create a space of comfort, acceptance, and love.

Let us draw inspiration today in our prayers, alone or with our family, reach out to others who still do not know of the priceless kindness of Christ.

Father Leo Polselli, C.S.C. is Chaplain at the Father Peyton Center in Easton, MA. Before coming to Holy Cross Family Ministries he served as a teacher and a parish priest. He also served for six years as a General Assistant of the Congregation in Rome, Italy. Originally from Fall River, MA, Father Leo grew up with eight siblings. Gifted with several languages, he is able to serve the Brazilian, Cape Verdean, Portuguese, Spanish and Haitian communities. When he's not greeting everyone who comes to the Father Peyton Center, you can find him regularly reading newspapers!
