Mary’s Cry at the Empty Tomb: Family Reflection Video

Mary’s Cry at the Empty Tomb: Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration  |  Seasonal Reflections

It was the cry of a broken woman, a woman with a broken heart. She cried out, where is he?

This is a cry that is heard every day and in every corner of our world. It is a cry we hear from loved ones who in response to an Easter greeting that I sent wishing them peace, joy and happiness, responded “how I wish I could truly have some of that.”

Jesus wants each of us to have some of that. He died and rose so that we could have some of that.

But the gospel message today doesn’t end there. Jesus sent Mary to be his messenger. Faith or belief in God has a corresponding responsibility: Mission. Like Mary we too are sent to announce the Good News. He is Risen!

Have you cried out in prayer to ask for help? How do you know God heard your prayer? Did you tell others about your good news? Tell our readers about it too!

May the Easter joy of the risen Jesus remain in your heart all year!
