In this life, we may not be able to do great things like Moses, but, in the words of Mother Teresa, we can still do small things with great love because the fire of God’s love was entrusted to us at our baptism.
We may not be called to perform the heroic deeds, but we did hear Jesus say that what we ask for in prayer will be granted us by the Father. In our prayer today, alone or with our families, what needs and concerns might be burning in our souls?
Lord, fill us with the Holy Spirit! Alight our hearts with the fire of Your great love.
