People on the March: Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor  |  Strengthening family unity

Thousands of people and counting are heading towards the hope of a better life.

For the past weeks, and even as we speak, thousands of people are trekking towards the borders of the United States. There are those who say they don’t’ belong in the country they are seeking to enter, but the migrants themselves say they are no longer safe to be citizens in their own country.

This feeling of abandonment and alienation is real for many of those around us. Those without hope, without Christ, without God, are crossing borders everywhere in search of the peace Jesus speaks of. People who are far want to be near, and those who help others seeking Jesus will know his presence when we least expect it.

Are we looking out for our neighbors, caring for those who need our help?

We pray that the world sees peace and unity as the solution to this current crisis. Only by working as a community can we be closer to God.
