Prayer Can Soothe Restless Hearts: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

“Our hearts are restless until they rest in God.”

The needs that people bring to mass are many and the worries are real. Saint Paul urged early Christians not to give up and keep showing faith, even in the hard times. In today’s reading, people are shaken by statements and revelations about the end, and we see this today as well in the midst of scandal.

It is amazing how often I hear people say on a particular day they heard words from Scripture that spoke directly to a need they had or a concern they were dealing with. If we are listening, there are many ways God speaks to us, and He always knows just what we need.

How has God been speaking to you lately? Are we listening to His messages for us each day?

Let us pray for the worried hearts and minds that consult in God’s Word. We pray to the Lord!
