Ready and Prepared to Meet God: Family Reflection Video

Ready and Prepared to Meet God: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

When our time comes, will we be ready and prepared to meet God? I assure you that doing so is a lot easier than you may think.

Jesus’ story in the Gospel today comes to life when I think about my father. Both stories describe a servant who faithfully serves his master, never abuses the trust that his master has in him and is always ready to meet the needs of his master.

When my father died, he was ready and prepared to meet God. The same can be true for us. Meeting God face to face need not be something we approach with fear and trepidation … not if we have been his faithful and committed servant.

Think about the qualities of fidelity and commitment. What do each of those words mean? Do you know someone who you believe is a real-life Christian example of being a faithful and committed servant? Why?

Thank you, faithful blog reader/watcher, for spending a few minutes with us today. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers.
