Take Up Your Mat and Walk: Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor

What are about this Lenten season, and what walk have we made?

When I hear Jesus telling the crippled man to take up his mat and walk, I always think of the men and women who have been helping other men and women find renewal over the centuries. They are empowered by the same love and words of Jesus. I think of so many Holy Cross men and women, who bring new hope and new dreams to people all over the world today.

When God’s people remain faithful, everything will be made new. In reaching out to people who are waiting for someone to help them find their way, we can bring relief to a family member, a friend, or a perfect stranger. We follow God’s way to the Truth and the Life.

How do I work to help others, even total strangers each day? Do I foster this giving in others?
