Tongue-Tied Christians: Family Reflection Video

Tongue-Tied Christians: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

We confidently predict weather patterns, but are afraid to talk about God.

How does it happen that our relatives, coworkers, friends and ourselves at times, are knowledgeable about many subjects yet feel inadequate in talking about God, about Jesus?

Called to one hope, one Lord, one God, and Father of all, St. Paul reminds us to, “Live in a manner worthy of the call we have received.” Our baptism became our DNA. When we were baptized we received qualities that distinguish us as faith filled people: humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve peace among us.

Our tongues will be untied if we let these blessings do the talking for us. From them people will come to know the One who is standing among us and who we are standing before: Jesus, Our Lord and God.
