Will Only a Few be Saved? Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

Jesus will bring us to the ultimate victory, but first we have to let him manage our team.

When someone asks Jesus today if only a few would be saved, Jesus’s simple answer is that it takes a lot of hard work and effort to enter the Kingdom of God. This is an important truth that applies to other things in life that are worthwhile and purposeful. The United States just finished the World Series, and the manager of the winning team often had to remind them along the way to keep working hard, not to take their eyes off the prize.

It is always a concern that people could begin to believe that Christianity and team Jesus are hopeless. But the manager, Jesus, does not believe that. Instead he tells us there will be many other people of active faith from the world’s various cultures and religious who will be joining his team, willing to make the effort and do the hard work. They will become the new firsts and the old firsts will simply become the new lasts.

Do I work hard for Jesus, listening to his advice? What team am I playing for: Jesus’s or my own?

Pray with me today that we join together to play as one team under Jesus’s inspiring management.
