Adoration with children | family prayer | pray the rosary
Our parish created a five-year plan in which one of the three priorities discerned was to increase the support for marriages and families. Our pastor asked me to execute this portion of the plan. family life | family prayer | pray the rosary
Week after week my teenage son and I drove the same 22 miles to the chemotherapy infusion clinic. The last few miles were on a main road in a nearby city. When we turned onto this road, we passed by the big box stores and the fast-food restaurants before driving through the old downtown area, which now houses rundown homes and quirky local businesses. The last stretch of road runs through the gentrified area: the theater, cute shops, and the most highly regarded restaurants in town. Just beyond lies the hospital which was our destination (and beyond that, a university). I thought I knew this road.

Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary | praying the Rosary
Amanda Woodiel offers a list of prayer intentions for families to use while praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. As you pray this Intentional Rosary, you may use a litany format where the leader reads the first part of each intention and the rest of the family responds with the second part, or the leader may pray the whole intention and then begin the Hail Mary.
