Complaining or Praying - Family Reflection Video

After reading and reflecting on today’s Word of God, two verses stood out…can you guess what they were? The first was, “We are disgusted with this wretched food!” And the second is when the Pharisees ask Jesus, “Who are you?” When I was a kid, the first time I missed my Mom’s cooking was my first camping trip with the Boy Scouts. Strength To Go On - Family Reflection Video

Let me share a heartwarming story that has inspired me, and I hope it will inspire you too. The parents, particularly the mother of two grown-up boys, are going through a difficult time. When it comes to our faith, we are especially careful not to risk ridicule. But today we see Jesus and two other people who dare to risk ridicule with regard to their faith.

The Light of Faith - Family Reflection Video

The parables Jesus used were excellent teaching tools. We may not understand them at first or second reading, but they engage our minds, are memorable, and invite us to discern meaning. They may speak to us of personality, the senses, the nature of light, the perception of things, or interpersonal relations.
