Jesus drives out the people who are making money selling in the temple, saying, “My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.” (Luke 19:45). In doing so, He removes the sinful activities that separate people from God and prevent them from growing in His love and sharing it with others. Then he stays there and teaches.

Psychological researchers have found that the more we direct our attention toward positive thoughts, the stronger the neural pathways connected to positive thoughts and feelings, even enhancing our ability to access them. Jesus and Saint Paul were able to lead others towards positivity. Saint Paul directs the attention of the Philippians to a positive state of mind by telling them he has confidence in them.
