Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez came up to bat. The pitcher tossed a fastball right down the middle of the plate in Alex’s sweet spot. What amazed me was the ease and fluidity with which he swung the bat and hit the home run right out of the park. I could not have accomplished such a feat in one hundred years!

We recall our childhood experience of sitting with our parents or grandparents listening to stories of Guardian angels protecting and guiding us, and learning bedtime prayers like this one: Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom His love, commits me here, ever this day, be on my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen!
