There’s a great new film out called Fatima that is a beautiful retelling of the events of the apparitions in Portugal in 1917. It is very realistic and brings alive the historical and social context in which Our Lady appeared to the three shepherd children.

Traditions say that the apostle Bartholomew made it as far away as India to evangelize and after some time, followed trade routes up to Armenia! That’s a pretty impressive missionary career! He and his good friend, the Apostle Jude, got the evangelization off to a good start.

Celebrating family life | Why pray?
Father Peyton often said that, even though he came from a large poor family, he was rich. His home gave him everything. Because Jesus and Mary were at the center, faith was his family’s foundation. Family prayer, specifically daily prayer of the Rosary, gave him all he needed to become all the Lord made him to be.
